Ava's Tropical Dreams- Lots of exploring and a week on the dock...

Lots of exploring and a week on the dock...

I have done lots of things that I need to tell you about!

First of all, in my last blog (at the end) I told you that we were going to go back to Woburn Bay. However, that did not happen as lots of our friends were going back to Morne Rouge on their own boats so we decided to go with them. We had another fun filled weekend at Morne Rouge with lots of swimming and playing.

While we were there, we visited the underwater sculpture park. The underwater sculpture park is an area of sea, which was by a coral reef, where there are lots of statues of people and objects underwater! It was really cool and my favourite statue was a man that was sat at his desk with a computer in front of him! We also saw a massive leather back turtle!

After visiting Morne Rouge we went to Le Phare Bleu to stay on our boat at the marina as my dad went for a work trip and my grandpa is visiting. We haven't seen him in 2 years! It's our first time staying in the marina so we are really enjoying it. Also, lots of our friends are here so we can play with them after we finish homeschooling. The other day, we were swinging and jumping off of our friends boat which is called Isla. It was really fun as they have a rope swing and you can jump from a high place! While we were doing that it began to pour with rain but we carried on.

The mum on Second Star also gave me a henna tattoo! I have never had a henna tattoo before so I was really excited. Its was a flower with swirls around it and was really pretty. When I got out of the water from swimming, I thought that it was a piece of seaweed on my hand 😂.

On Wednesday night, it was wing night! We had lots of chicken wings as they are delicious (personally bbq flavour are the best)! Also, me and some friends tried out this 'raft' on the water when it was dark and let's just say it does not really float! However, we still have it.

Also on Wednesday night, lots of adults went to bingo at Prickly Bay. This morning we got told that the adults on Luckie Charm had won a piglet as the Grand Prize. We did not believe them until we went on their boat and saw the cutest little baby pig! They named the little piglet Sugar Scoop (like the back of a boat)! They had a huge crowd on their boat as most people in the marina heard about the piglet!

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Isla runs a workout on the dock so I have been doing that every other day. My mum and my sister have done it but only once or twice! Luckily, once we finish doing it we get to jump in the water!

Thank you for reading this blog. I hope you will continue reading my blog posts. Speak soon! Ava 😄
